Located in the bonny village of Brora, on the east coast of Sutherland, Sona Di is a cosy cottage just 5 minutes walk from the beach, harbour, local shops, cafes, restaurant & Capaldis Ice Cream shop. Brora has great beaches on both sides of the river, the Clynelish Distillery, a links golf course, bowling & tennis club and many more local attractions. It is the perfect base for enjoying & exploring the stunning landscapes, superb food, enchanting history, wonderful wildlife, many sports & activities that the awesome Highlands has to offer!

'We were lucky enough to spend three weeks staying at Sona Di in Brora. A perfect base to explore the Highlands. We fell head over heels in love with the area and would love others to experience the joy too!

'We had a wonderful time in Brora. Sona Di is so conveniently situated for visiting places in the Highlands. We did day trips to John O'Groats & Lochinver, the RSPB reserve at Forsinard, Loch Glen & Helmsdale, Dornoch & the beautiful castle at Dunrobin - all great days out!  The house is better equipped than ours at home & we hope to return again soon.'

Brora is situated approximately 60 miles north of Inverness. It sits alongside the A9, which is now part of the North Coast 500 Route.

​

It is accessible by car (via the A9), train (Brora station), plane (Inverness Airport), and local bus services (66 or X99).
